Introduction

Welcome to the on-going creation of Red River Woman,an entry in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo.org.) The story chronicles the adventures of Clair Leblanc, a woman who dared to face life on her own terms at a time when a woman alone in the world was a rare thing. Claire's story is a work of fiction. Names,characters, places and incidents are the product of the author's imaginagion or are used fictitiously.
